SUSPYRE: New Album Artwork, Track Listing Revealed

February 25, 2008

New Jersey-based progressive metallers SUSPYRE have finalized the title and track listing of their new album, "When Time Fades…", for a late summer release.

The "When Time Fades…" cover artwork can be seen at this location. The artwork was created by Brazilian designer Gustavo Sazes (FIREWIND, NIGHTRAGE, MYSTIC PROPHECY).

SUSPYRE's main composer Gregg Rossetti says about the CD, "[This album] is groovier and the songs are diverse. There is less obnoxious double bass. It is more about colors and sounds and groove, rather than in-your-face metal. The guitars are more down tuned and heavier riffs, rather than epic. The other stuff we've done is more orchestral. There are orchestral parts to this album; it's just not dominating the songs. It is there for color rather than being bombastic."

"When Time Fades…" track listing:

01. Possession

SUSPYRE was interviewed earlier in the month on the "Metallicious Mania" radio show with DJ ProgPowerGrrl. To listen to the interview and to check out the song new song "Possession", visit the band's MySpace page.

SUSPYRE released its second album, "A Great Divide", in March 2007 on Lance King's (BALANCE OF POWER, PYRAMAZE) label Nightmare Records, but due to the buyout of Navarre Distribution by Koch International, the CD's release date in the USA was delayed until September 11, 2007.

SUSPYRE will release a special edition of its first album, "The Silvery Image", on March 4. The new version of the CD will include the bonus track "Crimson Shade".
